After many years spent securing land, Roots Dojo is seeking funds to build an indoor facility. We are looking at about a 1200 sq ft. (48′x24′) timber/ stick frame hybrid on a slab or piers. The building is much needed to further better deliver unique training in as unique of an environment. This facility will host a number of different courses that will benefit the community and a broader population for years to come. It will provide a space to continue the current classes for youth and adults as well as a space to host other topics of interest to the community, such as archery, wilderness survival, health practices, tracking, land navigation etc.
Paralleling this endeavour, we continue to develop our training grounds with a wide variety of training components; an outdoor training area, climbing ropes, pull-up bars, a punching bag and knife throwing boards.
Check back often to find updates on the fundraising campaign, to see the development of the building, and to see how you can participate!
